Oakland Raiders Cornerback Tarell Brown to hold 7th Annual Free Football and Cheerleading Skills Camp
Free Skills Camp for 400 Youth
DALLAS- Oakland Raiders cornerback Tarell Brown will be holding his 7th Annual Free Football and Cheerleading Skills Camp at E H Hanby Stadium in Mesquite, Texas on Saturday, June 28th sponsored by the Browns Kids Foundation.
The free Youth Football and Cheerleading Skills Camp is set to take place on Saturday, June 28th and will be open to the first 400 preregistered campers grades 2nd -12th. Check-in will begin at 9am, camp will start at 10am, and conclude at 1pm. Early registration will begin on April 1, 2014 and close June 14th. Campers may register the day of the camp, however, only the first 400 registered campers are guaranteed a free camp T-shirt. Each camper will receive a free camp T-shirt, camp souvenir, autographed player card and lunch. Joining Tarell will be some of his NFL teammates and high school cheerleading coaches, all donating their time to teach the Dallas youth. They will be put through position-specific drills, special teams participation, competitive 1-on-1 drills, and team offensive vs. defensive simulated scrimmages. Participants will also be instructed on proper warm-up and stretching techniques, conditioning and sports nutrition. Current Stallion coaches and the North Mesquite Cheerleaders will instruct cheerleader participants. At the end of the camp the cheerleader participants will showcase what they learned for the crowd. This camp will be a great opportunity for young aspiring athletes to receive first-hand knowledge from the pros themselves. For more information, and to preregister your camper click here.
