Rashad Johnson Builds Dreams
Johnson takes time this Holiday season to demonstrate the meaning behind his foundation.
PHOENIX – Strong safety, Rashad Johnson, kept busy this holiday season outside of football. The fourth year Cardinal out of Alabama took time this Christmas to illustrate the mission of his Walk-On to Champions Foundation. This Holiday season Johnson gave 33 foster children each a generous gift card to Target, went Christmas shopping for a family of five, and spent hours taking pictures and signing autographs for the children and families. The mission of Johnson’s, Walk-On to Champions Foundation is, “to provide courage, strength, and support to encourage youth to chase their dreams.” Johnson believes that through positive and steady role models, our youth can learn that dreams can start at any age. With the example of perseverance and dedication, Johnson shows real proof that dreams can be conquered. As a true example to our children of someone who overcame adversity, no child should ever be discouraged from chasing their dreams. This Christmas Johnson showed a glimpse of what he does on a daily basis to encourage our youth to never give up.
