Johnson, Party of 33
Johnson delivered Thanksgiving meals to Phoenix families this holiday season.
PHOENIX – Arizona Cardinals safety, Rashad Johnson did a little more than defend wide receivers this Thanksgiving holiday. With the opportunity to feed nine parents and 24 children, Johnson offered a sense of relief for these families. To Johnson the Thanksgiving holiday means more than just another weekend on the football field. This year, Johnson had the privilege of making sure Phoenix families had plenty to eat. Johnson did some shopping at HoneyBaked Ham, and bought $1000 worth of food to put on the table. Then the Tuesday before Thanksgiving Johnson personally delivered these Thanksgiving meals to each family in the Phoenix area. The opportunity Johnson had to provide these families with a Thanksgiving meal was an indescribable feeling for the safety. With an unpredictable economy today, a family’s meal should never be part of this uncertainty. Thanks to Johnson, a few more families felt a little fuller this Thanksgiving.
